ok, i personally think it was the old man at the abandoned amusement park that did it, but to keep things interesting...i read through the last few pages of that Pirate thread. I notice someone made a reference to a johnny55lightning pulling a scam in their Flea Market, and that it was the same person. Keep in mind, OP, i am not accusing you obviously since you started this, so bear with me..I also saw mention that the offender, currently going here possibly as My Future Your Debt, and Jeff over there, was balding with a mullet and an XRR...I know there was an ADV guy, Johnny55, who fit that description and was banned about a year ago, for pulling scams if I remember right..not providing the goods when paid..I know he matched that description because he met us 2 years ago for the middle day of the MonkeyButt ride, hung out at camp a bit, and rode with us a bit the next day..Seemed like a good guy, even bought a burger for someone we were meeting later, so it surprised me to see what seemed to later transpire.
Anyway, just more food for thought. Does anyone remember that or have better sleuthing skills? I might see if I can find any of the pictures to see if it looks like the same, and if I am way off base here, my apologies...just reading that kind of got me thinking and some parts seemed related..Now i am off to the Mystery Van!

Mountains, I'm watching the TV show "Elementary" right now about that modern day Sherlock Holmes fellow. If you'll wait until 10pm central time when the show's over, I'm sure I'll be able to solve this with a little deductive reasoning.

By deduction, I've come to the conclusion that winter is contributing to cabin fever pursuits.

OK, my threshold was reached.

I banned Johnny for 1 month, for posting a user's name (which is a no-no) but more, it's for just being a lousy citizen around here. We don't need drama, and that's what we were getting.

NO DRAMA, just a thief that has ripped off inmates and MANY others on OHV sites...
Inmates, you need to be on your toes. This scumbag had fallen off the map until recently.
The thread on Pirate is worth the read. If you skip to the last 1-2 pages of updates, it gets confusing but eventually the THIEF outs himself.

Below are the threads i posted in trying to out this thief.

The link to the pirate thread is the final link.
This guy needs to be found and brought to some form of justice...

As far as I know, MyFutureYourDebt used to go by the name StayTheTrail, but changed it soon after joining ADV.

Wow. I read the first 3 pages of Pirate thread and jumped to the last couple where I got lost. It does seem to tell the story and I'll get back to where I jumped ahead this weekend. It seems like there are far too many people who have been ripped off for someone to be trying to frame him.

All I know about him is he had TONS of posts in the Amendment 64 thread the night it was being voted on. At the time I thought that he was building his post count in that thread alone. I have nothing against folks that smoke, but he was very irritating about it. So much so that I have refused to read anything he posts ever since.

Now all this.

Yeah, especially the part of Johnny Banned coming in here and hinting or suggesting that I'm "splitting the take" with a scammer simply because I asked Johnny to follow forum rules and not post full names of inmates. Even banned inmates. That's out of bounds in my book and a month ban is slap on the wrist for making allegations like that.
