Gray's Online - Help in Vic

Hi Victorians,

I'm currently bidding on Gray's online for a Dririder Jacket. Apparently, Jeffrey's Motorcycle Centre at 1029a Burwood Highway Ferntree Gully has gone bust and everything is being auctioned through Grays.

The problem is that everything is 'Pick up only' from The shop. I had a pick up option available to me but can't use that now.

Is there a kind Vicco ADV rider out that way who could pick it up for me and post it over to SA? Obviously, I would pay the postage costs and owe some beers.

If I win the jacket I would have to let them know who is picking it up on my behalf.

Cheers Bootlace. Just exploring courier ' door to door' services too. Problem is that a gang of us are heading off for a three day ride in the morning and it looks like I've backed myself into a corner...

Looks like Dave is the least put out by this. Thanks very much mate. If I win it, it looks like the couriers won't bag and label it(!) and the people at Gray's just want to hand it over as is. I might still get a courier to take it off your hands, if you can bag and label it and hand it over - maybe even Pack n Send, if there's one nearby. I can pay them direct then.

Sorry for stuffing you around but, like I say, I had a plan A which turned to sh*t on me because he's out of Victoria on holidays.

Mate, not a lot of probs. It just so happens im off this week as well from work so its an easy get. Let me know, dont worry about couriers etc. Can work it out if successful, and can just bag and post it across. easy! fix up via direct deposit...simple

Problem is, I'm off in the morning with 10 blokes for three days of significant merriment, both on and off bikes, and the auction finishes Tuesday afternoon. I've put in a max bid and won't know whether I've got it until Wed afternoon when I fall in the front door.

In the interim, could you PM me with your name and phone number and I'll sort it out with you as soon as I know I'm the winner, or not. I have to supply Gray's with the name of the collector.

I imagine they would have a few to sell but I can't seem to find them.

I picked up out of ADV flea market that they had some MC gear up for grabs, and I'm in the market for a new jacket, so I logged on, joined up, and just searched on key words until I found what I wanted.

I have had a great run out of my Dririder Rallycross Evo jacket, and they had the colour I wanted in the new ones, and the size....marriage made in heaven.

EDIT: Just checked and no helmets in that particular sale. Lots of gloves, jackets etc.

Thanls very much for your offer of help Dave. As it turns out, the price has just gone over the top. For a few dollars more I can get one delivered to my door, with a warranty and still in a packet. It was a worthwhile exercise and I really do appreciate the help that was offered from over the border........down Mexico way!!
