Place to pitch tent in CT

Hey Kenno & gkNQ, if you guys need a place to pitch your tent and a shower before heading west drop into the Big4 in Charters. Can't make the ride myself but plenty of space if your staying in town.
Regards
Dave

But with Phill's blessing we will head out to Big Red either Saturday evening or Sunrise Sunday and say our Goodbye's.

On another note for our crew, if we are heading home through Bedourie/ Diamantina Lakes/ Old Cork. etc I need to know numbers to organize enough fuel to get us back to Winton.
Hi OBJ,

I will tag along with the Townsville fellas whatever is decided but the idea of that 575k NP crossing appeals and then I will head home via Hughenden and the Lynd.

I carry enough fuel for 360k in the 20 litre tank and was going to get a couple of bladders this week but if the uterus idea works out I'll go for 20ltrs out of the can instead and chuck in for expenses.

Chuck on those big square elastoplast plasters over the BCC cuts to stop the stitches pulling, I had to and it works well, then take some heavy painkillers just for the get going in the morning at coffee time then get on the bike and forget everything and don't take the painkillers again after the first lot every day.
Works for me.
Now how do we stop this bloody cyclone!!

Tell you what fellars no sign of winter yet, still quite warm here around 32 daytime, 13-15 o'night. Might be a good time to display the usual disclaimer and rules as per the guide to the AQR volume 5.

Rule 1. Ride what you like, even KLR's are welcome.
Rule 2. Bring bail money and bus fare.
Rule 3. Photographic evidence may be used against you at a later date.
Rule 4. Pitch your tent at least 100 meters from Barra and Charlie
Rule 5. KTM's have their own designated camping area to allow late night mechanical repairs.
Rule 6. There may be a fly problem
Rule 7. There will definatley be a dust problem.
Rule 8. Barra likes to wake eveyone up around 5am.
Rule 9, Sitdownman cleans his teeth 3 times a day, should we?
Rule 10. Roo's are meant to be shot not run over
Rule 13. Anyone who has any concerns about the rules should stay home.

The Disclaimer:
All efforts will be made to take evidence in the event of a whoops momement, only Riders who are familar with taking the piss or ridicule and are outdoors'y types should attempt this shambles.
Warning: To City dwellers! People in the Outback are friendly, so do not be alarmed if someone waves to you on the road or talk's to you in town When drinking with locals, they may want to shout you a beer or fight you, the choice is yours.
If your single and happen to find a girl who fancies you, then you should read the part again about drinking & fighting with locals.
We even accept BMW's to tag along, did i just say that.
So have a good time, and ride safe, and remember it's not a APC rally or a race! It's an adventure
