F650 Twin bulb keep burning :(

hi all, months ago i smelled burned plastic and was that in the headlight the low light melted the plastic fixture and also burned the light (sorry dont know the technical word but its the plastic that holds the bulb and gives current)

so i bought a 3rd party fixture and replaced the bulb to, again 1 week later, dead and melted fixture.

so i bought everything again (bmw dont sell the fixture, only all the light set for only 1400 usd here in chile so i got a 3rd party) and i noticed that when i put the high light, the low melts everything again!

anyone has any ide what could be¿?

also, i have the thermic handles and the cover worned off! cant find a replacement! i can see the orange electrical part of the grip!

thank you all!

What brand, type, and wattage of bulb are you using?

Have a look at these threads, which have similar issues:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=797285

The second one, although on an R1150, looks closer to what you're seeing and some advice there seems to suggest corrosion or moisture in the bulb holder.
