Hatcher Pass road still open?

Is the gate still open on the Palmer side? Thinking I want to take a run across in the next day or two if the weather is decent. Anyone know?

Well shucks. Only rode it once this year!

The day I rode it was also when Foreigner was playing the Fair and it rained all day and into the night. I was dressed for it tho and stayed warm and dry even after being out for about 11hrs before getting home from a "most excellent" concert. It was a really fun ride over the pass pre-concert since I was the only vehicle up there and I had on fairly fresh knobbies.

Thanks for the update tho so I don't end up making plans.

I rode the Buell up the Palmer side last night and the gate is shut on that side. They spread a lot of sand on the road for the last mile or so, I presume due to the recent snow.
