What about the boneyard?

Or if a bike gets totaled (god forbid) shoot a note to the inmate. There are bikes out there getting parted out.

I received my Kaoko two days before a long trip, and was very disappointed to find out that the original bolt was short. Cold not find the long one anywhere, dealer needed 30 days to order one, so I cut a section of a steel bolt, same diameter, cut the original bolt above the thread and TIG welded the section to make a 9mm-ish bolt. Too much work about a 50 cent bolt, but I had the tools and got it in time to enjoy cruise control on a 4,000 miles trip.

PM sent!

Bolts

Maybe some of European freinds can locate bolts in this size M12 X 1.5 X 80mm to 90mm lenght, I would be willing to pruchase a box of 100, re-selling them 2 at a time to the imates.

Bottom line is Kaoko should be providing this service.

Unfortunately, Dexter has informed us that the bolts are on back order.

One Kaoko coming to the Flea Market. I'll see about picking up the Twisted Throttle model for the 80mm bolt.

Have you thought about changing your hand guards?

Yeah, bummer. Those are imported and I guess you know how difficult is to get something imported here in Arg. This time.

And give up my LEDs and (more importantly) sticker?

Besides, they do a good job of keeping my hands warm and dry. I'll just keep looking for the Kaoko that fits the 80mm. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Send it to me. If I can get it to work, I will swap bolts with you and give the Kaoko back.

I'll weld one up but not stainless, you'll have to paint it.

Let me know by email.

Are we sure it's 12mm? That's a big ass bolt.

All, is this only a pre 2006 issue? Would I have this issue on my 2012 GSA?
