So, conditions in Glasshouse/Woodford forests are not too bad now. And another week of sunny weather could turn next weeks ride into a dustbowl! Was a fair bit of white powder floating in the air today, and it took us a while to realise what it was!

Gday dust, been a while.

Lets hope for a couple of showers toward the end of next week, to keep the conditions PRIMO!

Just wanted to check, is there anyone coming along who rides a large bike?

I'm talking about the likes of GS1200's, DL1000's, CT110's (geez, how did that one get in there?) etc.

Yes I would say my bike is big but never had a trouble through glasshouse even in the small twisty single tracks. But people might not like my dust cloud and rocks the 1000cc 4 wheeler throws up.

I try to keep it down but sometimes it's just not avoidable

No worries James, I was more worried about the kind of bike that falls over.

So I'm guessing the permit came through ok?

The Woodford officer was in the middle of writing it last week. I still don't have it but don't think it will be a drama.

It's not usually classified as a 'big bike', but it is big for me and it tends to fall over...... usually as I'm trying to get off though. Does that count??

Permit is all approve and I have even got a bonus Dayboro to wordford roads. I don't think my back would handle the extra kms if I did that though.

Housekeeping

A reminder, before coming on any Snail Trails ride, you MUST read and agree to the disclaimer on the ST website:

http://snail-trails.sportsontheweb.net/disclaimer.htm

But a summary of that is: Ride safe, look after yourself and think about how your riding will affect those around you. Pretty simple eh?

Well.... Only 6 sleeps to go

The weather is looking pretty close to perfect.

I've written a special theme song for this year's OFFICIAL anniversary ride video

We are close to the half century of riders already!

And as far as I can tell, I qualify for at least half a free pie.... so

BRING IT!!!
