Well.... That's 60. Gotta be a record I'm thinkin!!

So, looking at these sort of numbers, it will be a very slow ride. Which is fine by me.
If anyone is looking for some thrills, fast pace or danger, I recommend looking elsewhere.

DRs and DRZs

Calling all the DR and DRZ riders coming on this.
I've sent a couple of photos off to Vince Strang for his drs gallery and I thought it might be cool to grab a group photo of us all somewhere out in peachester.
The more the better.
Looks like there should be a good few of us.

Fark Rod, I know it's forestry up there, but try not to lop any trees with the Big Meaty Wanger!

I shall be on the DR, but I am pretty tempted to go out an by a DRZ today. Should I wait and hit one of you DRZ riders up for a spin, or should I just go forth and buy the DRZ? Whats the DRZ400E like going up technical hills?

My two bob's worth...

DRZ will be better on tech hills than a DR, but somewhere in between a DR and an enduro weapon like a KTM or HUSA.

Although in my experience, what matters more is rider skill.

I've seen guys on DR's and even Transalps (mentioning no names) who have waxed the arse of guys on light 2 stroke enduro bikes!

Guess it just depends how hard you are willing to work to get up the hill.
Me? I'm a lazy bastard, so I went with the weapon. As most of my riding is on tech hills and tight stuff.
But geez, I miss the DRZ any time I have to do more than 60 klms in a day

Strummer, you may come across up to 50 riders from another ride in Mt Mee at identical times as your ride, I predict they should be at Dayboro around 8:45 am to go up into Mt Mee.

Can't see it being much fun for two large groups being in there at the one time, especially if there is dust around as well. Just each individual group in there would be pushing it with those numbers, let alone two.

They are also heading into Woodford from Mt Mee so it could be extremely busy all round.

FYI.

Thanks Cruz..

I've had a chat with the leader of the Team Moto ride.
We head in the opposite direction to them - into Glasshouse from Woodford - and it looks like the only place we cross paths will be as we ride past them while they exercise their elbows at the Woodford pub!

So I want everyone on our ride to beep the horn as we ride past, and give the Team H boys the official ADV salute!

Just for a laugh

We can safely do that, because we outnumber them by about 12 riders, and besides, we'll have Sandy Lane in our group, and NOBODY messes with her
