I have yet to try the Anakee 2's or 3's but did try the K60's. I got a lot of miles off the rear but all of a sudden the rubber started flaking off in chunks all the way to the cords. The flakes were from as small as dimes to as large as half dollars.

That may have been a bad tire or all the gravel but I have to trust my tires and I don't trust Heidenau's

Here is a link to some comments I made on another website. The comments were also incorporated into an article for the MOA Magazine.

I really like my 19" K60 front, although it is really loud @ about 70 mph. Haven't tried the rear.

Are there any favorite routes to Duluth, avoiding gravel (friend) and 35W (KLR) We'll be leaving from Golden Valley.

Taylors Falls, cross to Wi, go up 87 (I think), CR F snd FF, Wi 35 at Danbury up to Superior, cross over to Mn on the Oliver Bridge.

Or just go up Mn 23. Simple, but pleasant and direct.

Tyres.. (too damned much time around Proppy)

Anyway, kick around the Dunlop TR91's for a "80/20" tire for ADV bikes..
I'm not a Dunlop guy, but I bought a set last fall for a trip out to MT/WY and they're holding up very well and I'm getting more mileage out of them than I would have guessed..

Anakee life, if not more.. And they stick well in both wet and dry..

Now, back to the VBR.. Anyone perform disgusting acts with their Mr. Happy, or is that just me..
