Swap meet/indoor expo western Masshole

http://wideopenexpo.com/

I have never been but I reserved a 10X20 booth space to try and move a couple bikes and some parts.

The site is a little light and doesn't have any pics of past events but it does have a floor plan layout.

The organizer told me that he hopes to drive 20,000 people through the building over the weekend.

As a 11 year veteran of Mid Ohio and a few York indoors, I don't need much reason to drag my junk to a swap meet.

Stop in and see Your Old Buddy, YAHBO.

Lots of cool shite.

Got to the event and got set up last night...lots of exceptional machines and accessories. High dollar track bikes, rows upon rows of new KTMs...looks like it will be a fun couple of days.

Anyone in the Springfield, MA area would enjoy this show iffin you have the time.

In the Mass Mutual convention center.

Sat 9-6 Sun 9-4

I thought it was pretty well done. Turn out was light but we sold a lot of stuff at our spot. Saturday at one point there was a small buying frenzy at our spot as people were going through our bins of used parts and snapping up the deals.

We had the most "flea marketish" spot for sure. There were high dollar set ups from a local KTM dealer, race sleds, couple midget race cars...etc. I will definitely try it again next year up in Springfield or anywhere closer to Long Island.

Overall, I think it was a good start. Organizing and executing something like this is a lot of work and I give credit to the organizer, Craig O'Dell of Bennington, VT for giving it a shot.
