Is it just me or do the graphic look like they're straight out of "The fast & the furious" circa late 90s?

The twin motor in it would be good tho wouldn't it.

yea the twin would be great, but that would mean a whole new KLR and I can guarantee the price would go up considerably. Big part of the KLRs success is that it is cheap.

I agree - the graphics look like they are trying to appeal to an audience that will never give a rats arse about a klr.

ah well my quest is over

I've just brought a black 09 klr complete with soft pannier racks and sw-motech crash bars to replace my black 09 klr complete with soft pannier racks and sw-motech crash bars

I now know how Bill Murray felt

Up to Auckland on Saturday to pick it up.
Pity about the weather forecast - I think I'll take my rain suit....

yup

everything apart from the piston...

plus I'm going to do a few bits that I never got around to on the old one like a bash plate designed for it (not the xr650 one I have been using) and a bracket to tilt the screen forward and maybe - just maybe an eagle mike 719 kit

oh and I'd better do the doohickey I suppose...

I still think you should have just fitted the old one with a Er6 motor.

er6 motors are a bit bland (at least they are not agricultural like the klr motor)
if I was going to go to that much expense and hassle it would have to be a scrambler 900 engine - those motors have soul and the sound is just magical

Its more a case of quietly oozing at the bung as opposed to fizzing (although that could be an age thing)

it would need a whole bottle of cialis to turn a dead stock klr into boner material
