Head Bolt Check Question

I have to do a valve check this next week on my 950. I also need to check the head bolts. Wondering about order. Can you check the valves first before torquing the heads, or does torquing the heads have any impact on valve clearance? I'm thinking torquing heads has no impact on clearance, but I'm not sure.

No impact, but there are some of the head bolts that can only be torqued when the cam bridge (and cams, maybe, my memory is fuzzy) are removed. So it will happen during your valve adjustment.
