Southern Maryland Tarmac Tracks
This file contains 5 tracks in three files. All roads are paved. Twisty county roads with blind curves. Tracks average +/-100 miles each. Gas stations limited.
The names of the tracks as follows: Moy's Mallows Bay Shown in GREEN on map --Mallow's Bay is North America's largest ship graveyard. Contains over 300 sunken wooden hulled ships. Aerial view you can see them. Free Admission (Dusk to Dawn) ![]() --Thomas Stone House (Signer of Declaration of Independence) National Historic site Free admission an tours of restored house and grounds Open Wed-Sun 9-5 --One room school house --St. Ignatius (founded in 1641) is one of the oldest Catholic Parishes in continuous service in the United States. We have a food predilection. Ends a Capt Johns Seafood restaurant. Amish 100 Shown in RED on map --Steny Hoyer's (US Representative for Maryland) home --Ends a country store with some fab fried chicken. It is nice track which re-creates John Wilkes Booth escape from Washington after he shot President Lincoln. Lakota generously provided his ride report for this one! About 100 miles (+/- 3.5 hours) of peninsula riding through on Southern Maryland's Calvert and Anne Arundel counties. Lovely scenery, nice twisty roads. Too cool! I grew up in Oxon Hill and never had a clue that this was down there. But then I was clueless about lots of stuff as a teenager....

LexLeroy--Don't feel too bad. Obviously ships have been there a very long time, however, it was only in the last 2 years parks and recs made it accessible via land.
Nice ride if you ever find yourself back in Maryland!
