Question Trail Clearing

Is the FS going to be in force in the Carson that weekend too? Plan any trail clearing as soon as the trails are ride-able?

I've been dealing with Amy Simms from the Penasco office of the Carson NF, and she's been very helpful so far.....I'll check with Bruce Bolander regarding the condition of the trails (I imagine they are still snowpacked), and I'll keep you posted regarding any early trail cleaning sessions.....

Still hoping to make this Mr. Magoo, I hope the schedule works out. Close enough that I'm going to need a pretty good excuse not to be there.

I believe that Bruce is planning on having a dual sport trials on Saturday morning for dual sport bikes? I think 2 loops, dual sport line in each section? I think the intent was to allow folks on dual sport bikes to compete in a trials, ride the loop up the ski runs, get a score card and declare a winner. All dual sport lines will be ridden in on dual sport bikes so they will not be difficult lines, just a basic trials event for big bikes?

Not sure if this is still in the plans or not, but certainly a great option. Plus the trials ride is free for first time NMTA trials riders, just have to be a AMA member.

Having met with Burque and a couple of NMOHVA Board Members, I can say that this will be a great event for the right reasons. It is always cool when we can ride some awesome trails and contribute to the cause.

I whole heatedly endorse the ride and encourage all to attend that can.

Fortunately for me, I will not be attending......I will be celebrating 25 years with the wife, off on some beach.

Please join the NMOHVA bunch and help them fight the fight!
