Leaving a bike, with kit, in Philly?

Is there somewhere safe to leave a bike, with loaded panniers, for a week? This would be in April. Ideally i'd find an attended garage or something secure like that.

I live in Manhattan, and here, it would be easy (although expensive) - I could just leave it in a 24 hour underground attended garage.

Thanks

check the tent space list, maybe an inmate has a garage or some safe place.

I live in Delaware County next to Philly.
Depending on when you need to leave it, I might be able to let you store it in my garage for the week.
Just need to know dates because I'll be out of town at one point and you won't have access to the bike.

I could make room in my garage as well. We're in the northwest suburbs.

Fantastic - I'll PM you guys.

Sorry it took long to reply, I still havent figured out how to subscribe to threads properly.

I'd like to drop it off on the 24th (can be flexible to suit you), and then pick it up on Friday evening of the 26th (again, flexible around time). So, shorter than I had expected.

I'm doing the Pine Barrens class on the morning of the 27th, and flying back from a business trip Friday night, so wanted to pre-stage my bike down there.

Thanks

Ah. I'm a little over an hour away from the Pine Barrens. My location might not be the best for you.
You would probably be better off looking for something in the Southern Jersey area.

I am in south Jersey and have plenty of room in my Carriage House. Let me know if you need help.

I was curious to see what a fellow rider needed in the Philly area.
My business has a 6000 square foot building and my bike stuff ALWAYS takes up one corner - out of the way.
I'm in suburban Philadelphia, just a few miles from the Pine Barrens, but it takes forever to get through the city and out to the sand.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see all the inmates will space to share!
NYLON2000 has a few really great choices... most of which are closer and better equipped than the old building I occupy.

Nice going fellas - It was uplifting to see you guys step up and help.

And that Pine Barrens class? - Let us know if you liked the experience!

I'm friends with the instructors of that class.
You'll have a good time.
Excellent instructors.

I have a garage in South Philly available if you'd like to leave it here.

I'm in Mt Holly, NJ. 20 minutes or so from pines, depending where your heading. And 30 minutes or so from Philly.

No garage or shed, but I do have a concrete slab back porch in a fenced yard you are welcome to use. Mine sits in the driveway under a cover year round.

Geoffh - i just wrote to you. Thanks

Basically, I'm looking for someone who's close to Philly airport/downtown, as i'll be coming in via public transport/plane.

Then I'll pick the bike up and head to the barrens.

Will report back on the class. I know another adv reader is on the same course as me as well. Alskee - another Sertao owner to boot too!

Thanks again for all the offers.

So let me get this straight. You'll be flying into Philly from NY and want the bike close to the airport to ride to the Pines?

All's sorted with Geoffh, thanks.

But, to close the loop. I live in NYC, and will be flying back to the North East from a business trip that friday night, and wanted to leave the bike near Philly airport, so i could ride to the pines. Allows me to fly back to Philly and not JFK.

Thanks
Philip

If anybody else is going to the Pines or in a similar situation - there's plenty of room in the garage.
