ADVrider house swap?
Hey guys,
I don't know if anyone would be interested in the idea of a house swap, where two riders who want to explore each others locations found a week that they were both free, and arranged to swap houses for that time to provide free accommodation for each other. Perhaps it would be more realistic to host other european riders at your place, then having the favour returned if times do not match up for a "swap" (or if people didn't feel comfortable leaving their home alone with strangers). It's a bit of an odd idea I suppose, but I've just moved to a house on the swiss/italian border, have a spare room and secure garage. Thought to myself that I would be happy to have other riders over for a while, especially if they lived in an area I was interested in riding and knew I could count on the hospitality being returned in the future. Might make for some cheap holidays and get some good tips on areas to explore. I don't know, I just wanted to feel out the topic - see what people thought the pros and cons were, the logistics of setting up a thread to organise it...

Possibly worth looking at the couchsurfing website as it's all set up with references etc.
I used to be very involved but don't find the time these days.
