You need to do your homework...

...only 500 pages or so.

BTW, (not liquid cooled related) why "replaced"? You could always order 1200GS with spokes from the factory.

Have a great time in Morocco. Are you going to fit knobby tires for your Morocco tour? If so, which knobby tires have you got for your new bike?

Max :-)

Thank you guys.
I was thinking that only the GSA is equipped with spoke wheels, and then the 2013 GSA has not been out yet.
Seen some photos of Liquid cooled in Thailand. None in Vietnam yet.

Was just down in Florida this past week, the No. Tampa dealer had one they hadn't finished assembling yet, said it wasn't spoken for. Took a few pics, will try to upload them.

Wasn't fond of the muffler in previously posted pics but in person it looks fine.

They also had a new '12 (or was it a '13?) GS (non-WC) that I really liked.

I picked mine up today! Got about 70 miles in amidst showing it off and family stuff. It is pretty stellar. Stopped by TT here in Seattle and grabbed some hand guards with spoilers, then out to Golden Gardens with the waterboxers new favorite pillion.

tomorrow i'll shred it a bit, and go back to south sound BMW to pick up the minimals for the first service!

How is the winscreen? It looks to be better, notice how bmw engineered the equivalent to the GSA winglets flanking both sides of the headlight.

Does anyone have a good assessment? I'm 6' and 32" inseam. Sounds crazy, but my r1200gs has made me so frustrated with the windscreen that i refuse to buy my next bike unless it is good from the factory.

I am 5"7 and for me the windscreen works well. At 70 mph I can ride comfortably with an open helmet. No problems with buffeting.

Thats a nice change. The prior model, somehow you'd get buffeting in the dealership. That musta spent more than 22 seconds in the wind tunnel...

I would say that you are tall enough to be on the verge of what is (not) satisfied by stock screens of any motorcycle brand.

Unfortunatelly (?) most brands try to satisfy a "mean" height rider (which I would say is a couple of inches shorter than you) and riders needing something different need to fix it themselves.

What I would certainly expect from a company like BMW, would be to have a factory option of a larger screen (maybe instead of the cosmetic tinted screen) like they do with seats.

My bike, but still at the dealer due to poor weather. -10 degrees C (14F) at night and a half meter snow out there.
