When I went upto Nordkapp I went through Swedwn first and found that expensive for food. I wild camped to save money. When I hit Norway I felt like a Romanian tinker. Everything was soooo expensive. But like the others have said camping is free and if you can stomach peanut spread for a week you can just about manage. I found the Swedish and Norwegian people very friendly and I definetly go back.

Finally she was ready to pick up and I had a quick spin. Now watching her while having my beer:) So responsive and smooth comparing to my 2010.

Nothing like having a new one:)

By the way blue doesn't show right in photos. It's way better to naked eye...

Yep, I worked there for a couple of years in the early 90s, good memories.

Doc, I've noticed that your bike has the GPS mounting bar, but not the plate. I assume that means that you were able to remove the mounting plate and detach the wiring without having to cut anything? If so, good news as I don't plan to keep a GPS on my bike but would like to have the option to in the future and if I can get rid of the mounting plate it will allow me full view of the tach. Thanks.

A wet day in North Wales

Climbers Cafe, Tremadog
1500 miles and counting, 59 UK mpg

I have to say, the Rain mode works really well - had the ASC light flash a couple of times exiting some greasy corners under gentle acceleration.

Great looking bike. I always like the GS with this color.
Do you know what's paint code of the red paint on your bike?
Thanks.

Does anybody have a photo of the GSLC with the tinted windshield? Mine is due in within a couple of weeks and I'm trying to get an idea of whether I want to add the tinted screen to my (Thunder Gray) bike.

Can't wait!!

Ride safely!

Peter
