LinOma (Lincoln-Omaha) Area Photo Tag

LinOma (Lincoln-Omaha) Area Photo Tag

Five simple rules. That's probably two more than most folks can remember, but they will be posted here for your reference.

#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture before you do, too bad; it's the earlier poster's tag.

#2 - Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe with a bit of history.

Also, try to place the tag within a short time of finding it; don't leave the game without an active tag for a lengthy time. If you do not know how to post an image, please refer to this thread: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=919

#3 - Tag must be (a) findable, and (b) may be placed on a dirt road if a street bike can make it. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.

#4 - File photos are NOT permitted. ONLY photos you take yourself. You gotta ride to play this game.

#5 - Your bike has to be in the TAG picture.

Geographic limitations

This is a LinOma (Lincoln/Omaha) area photo tag game. As such, the tags will be close to either Lincoln or Omaha, and MUST be found within these six Nebraska counties:

Douglas (plus Carter Lake, IA)
Sarpy
Cass
Otoe
Saunders
Lancaster

If you live outside these counties, you are of course eligible to play; just remember that all tags must be placed within those six counties.

Here is a map of the six counties (blue outline.)

Note: If the active participants of the game want to include a greater geographic area, it will be considered. The small initial area is intended to make it easy to find tags, and thus keep the game moving quickly.

To get the game started, I figured that an eponymous tag (and an easy one at that) should get things rolling. So without further fanfare, here's the opening shot.

Good luck! I look forward to the next tag.

I'm back, I should fire up the 650 and tag it!
But I need time to acclimate to the weather after riding in a jersey for 2 days!

Really - 60F on saturday and nobody drove to the beach!

I'd get it today, but my truck can barely make it down the local gravel roads.

I surely hope this storm hasnt led to a new distribution of salts, looks great by mid week.

So. doesnt appear to be a physical tag, so what happens when two folks find the spot and post up later in the day-- does this thing reproduce like a social disease? - - or does the first post win?

You have the tag. I'm eager to see what you post up for its new location.

This clubhouse is located in the downtown business district of a city whose population was less than 5,000 as of the 2010 census. A rail line runs through this town, and the town contains an intersection of two state highways.

So I just rode the supermoto 82 miles to look at a church that was already tagged.
