Mongoose Machine works in Coquitlam are the only ones I know of in Western Canada who replates cylinders, it's about $300 for a 640 101mm bore...

For valve work and crank rebuilding I take my stuff into Jamie at "Island D" in Nanaimo...

Hi Chaps. Does anyone know if the sudestands for the LC4 Enduro fit the ADV?

I think I will ditch the centre stand anchor permanantly and don't wnat to run the SW-Motech on that fits with the cemtre stand.

Seems that a few sidestand pop up on the unmentionable site?

Since you want to ditch the center stand completely, why not just order the accessory sidestand from KTM?

Ms.,
I fought several battles just to have a center stand.
To me it's about the most handy accessory on the machine.

Well maybe it's just me?

I hate working on a crooked motorcycle. My OCD kicks in.

http://www.webmd.com/anxiety-panic/g...lsive-disorder.

Every time that happens things feel shaky when I start the motorcycle.

I have only a center stand on my bike and have no plans to give it up...

It sure makes flat repair easy:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKAzG...2kfzag&index=2

Because

A) KTM OZ want stupid prices
and
B) KTM OZ seems to take4 months to back order stuff.

Yep, a center stand sure makes life a lot easier.

But like a kick starter........it's becoming a thing of the past???????

Cheers

A kick stand is good... a kick starter is nessecary, imagine trying to bump start a 690 at the bottom of a gully...

Nice Litespeed Bill - which model / approximate year is it? I like the adventure setup... would be good for Continental Divide! (I have a Ti Litespeed roadbike - a Sienna - and love the feel of Ti!) Where did you get the centrestand?

Drop, Hockey,
Quick on the bicycle. It was supposed to be funny???
I broke my foot crashing an older Yamaha mc in Panama last year.
Had to do bicycle therapy.

The 'Rules' are very cool. The bicycle is a 1999 Litespeed Ocoee modded for trekking and trailer pulling.

The centerstand is here...

http://www.thorusa.com/accessories/pletscher.htm

PM me if you need more info.

Thanks Bill, I plan on buying a Ti adventure bike one of these days! I actually was tempted by the Ocoee around the same time I bought my Sienna. I will check out that centre stand link.

The bike rules were funny... Fortunately, my growth mindset and uncommon sense dictates my personal flexibility when it comes to such things...
