I gotta mount up my 17 sumo wheels,, just waitin on my sprocket carrier... and I need to get different sprockets,, so what gearing should I try for 17" sumo wheels? I have 16/48 in dirt trim,, thinking 16/42? or 44? 40? and when I go back to dirt should I go 15/46 so a 16/44 chain might fit both sets of gears,, or just have a chain for each set?
Then I can really tear up the pavement!

Pārāk daudz pavedieni, pārāk daudz noobs, pārāk maz laika.
Oh wait, you didn't ask for Latvian... How's about Lithuanian?Per daug temas, per daug noobs, per mažai laiko. Well, it's all Greek to me... Πάρα πολλές κλωστές, noobs πάρα πολλά, πολύ λίγο χρόνο. Wait: Quoque plures threads , quoque plures noobs , parum vicis. Threads we could probably wing, but n00bs is going to take someone who know their shit, er, Latin.

I'm thinking non cush too,, but I'm also thinking I dont want to use the dirt wheel too much on the street.. I have a set of cush drive sumo's.. so if I have a dedicated dirt set, thinking I dont need the cush for that set. The trail head is about 6 miles from the house..

For now it is,, too much road and you will need one too.. you should mount up your street tires on a different set of rims..

I looked at at least a dozen gearing threads from the index.. but only one briefly mentioned sumo wheels.. not that too many here go that way.. I want to have a do it all lc4.. and since I cracked my rear hub,,, my sumo wheels are now on.. and I must say,, 16-48 is really not the right gearing for 17' sumo wheels on the open road.. tho it is a wheelie monster.

Is there a thread around that describes replacing the front wheel bearings on a '02 640a...or is it that easy?
