I did a multi-day charity ride a couple of years ago, and the rules were set out well ahead of time. I enjoyed it, but most of the riding was through the prairies on the highway.

I don't know how comfortable I'd be group riding in town or through mountain passes, though.

Now lets clarify this girls

Ok, so the town cryer, "it's not the bike" has opened his mouth once again, and spoken to soon. So therefore I would like to address him, and my friendly neighbors, Duck, Dakez, and 1911fan. You are quick to judge when you know not what you speak of. So let me clarify, before you shoot the messenger. After all this is a forum and there are messages here right??
First, i am not a spammer. Second, I do not own Sierra nevada adventures, nor do I get paid from said business. I simply ride with these guys, and enjoy their company. Third I am not trying to promote said business or do I profit from it in any way.
Forth, it's a freaking subjective article where both side where viewed.
Ok, It just a forum, and I am adding to it by displaying my freedom of speech. And yes, my family is Russian and I may sound funny sometimes. I also do not respect derogatory Russian comments (duck). And Don't tell me you haven't read Hunter S. Thompson, or Jack Kerouac, or William S. Burroughs, or Jim Goad and his latest book, wich you most resemble, Shit Magnet.
Did they have correct spelling and grammar?!? Fuck no, but you got the story anyways, Didn't you?!? I'm not an english teacher you idiot, I'm a fucking motorcycle rider!! So get the fuck off my back before you pile on me. I am the same as you and no better than you. Plus ,you never know, who you just may be to be standing next to at that next ADV rally. It's your brother, and your treating him like shit. And this is exactly what wrong with america, were all a bunch of, quick to judge back stabbing snitch's. Take a look at yourself America, you should be ashamed of yourself, you cowardly pig.

I merely picked Russian (and Thai by the way) because they are very different languages from English, that is all. I said nothing derogatory about the country nor it's people. No need to get all butthurt and defensive about it.

But I guess it's OK for you to talk smack about America though.

No apostrophe for the possessive form of pronouns.

See there, Stinky? You're not special; nobody is safe from the Grammar Police!

Its those kids that wanted more than anything to be cool in school and could never make the trip....Some of us grew up and moved on and can make it without calling a guy out. Sadly, the first group all to often wait in the wings waiting for an oppertunity to show themselves what smart people they are. The rest of us have learned that ones writing skills have nothing to do with what type of person they are, what type of adventures they have had or rather they are worthy of ones friendship and respect.

That being said most of my riding is a solo effort yielding about 10K last year. I have been on a couple of group rides and one of them I found myself about rearended two times by a noob that clearly should have been riding toward the front of the pack. Ride on.......

Some disagree

Jesus freaks (or any other religious zealot) don't count as by definition they are semi-literate buffoons.

Although you think they would have noticed the lack of apostrophes in the bible...
