Both books are great reads, very entertaining, highly recommended.

In one of the books (can't remember which one now) Oisin descibes getting a severe case of the trots on a moutain roadside in Colombia (from memory) and after hanging his backside out over the railing on the side of a busy road looks around for something to wipe his arse and ends up using his socks . . . had me in stiches and now strangely a scene I replay in my head whenever I am on the road looking for a bog house/location comforted by the fact that things hadn't got that bad for me yet.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly I had already tried both of these. I couldn't find the book on lulu (and direct links found through forum threads are dead). And on Amazon it says: "This title is not currently available for purchase"

Anywhere else where they might sell it?

Good news, the link you provided isn't dead yet (hehe, see what I did there ;-)!

But I'm actually looking for a paperback version, this is the kindle version.

Any other ideas?

Brilliant videos, just got and read "That I may die roaming".. haven't laughed so much in ages Loved the honesty and openness of the writing.

Have put up a review on Amazon for you Oisin, so I take it the "brown envelope" will be in the post!

Loved it, keep up the great work and keep the sticky side down

Finished "Not Dead Yet" last year after having it in the reading pile for a while. One of the best books I have read in a while and it spoke to me as I'm at a similar stage in life.

Years ago there were some vids posted to youtube of various clips of the trip which I strung together in chronological order. Didn't think i'd ever see anything more about this trip again, so these episodes are a surprise.

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this Oisin and these episodes are awesome to watch and certainly inspiring for those to take their own journey. I'm passing the link to these on to others and hopefully you'll leave these episodes up as over the years many more people will discover them.

I can't find a copy of Not Dead Yet in either paperback or Kindle. Does anybody know where I can get a paperback? Anybody want to sell me theirs?

Oisin any chance of Amazon getting more?

Hello Oisin
Had to join the forum just to post this.

Just finished watching your vids on Youtube and finished the books. All i can say is thankyou, truly inspirational and i hope the only reason the vids are being pulled off youtube is that someone is making them into a dvd, or Charley Boorman is paying you off for stopping sales of the long way round

Again thankyou for the vids and books. Really changed my outlook on riding. Hope to see you do more in the future.

Doesn't sound like it, but who knows.

I saw they will be removed in 2 days as well. That is a shame as I think it's something that over the years will pull in views as people discover or think about their own RTW trips.

I've been through all of the videos today. I discovered them by fluke whilst trying to find a video of the road of bones. I think it's such a shame if they get taken off in a couple of days. Truly the most inspiring set of footage and scenery I have ever seen! I want to look at them again, though I fear I won't get the chance.
I have long been contemplating a rtw trip, but want to get more experience riding first! Not least save some groats for it! I hope I'll have the cahoonas to just go for it when funds allow like you did.
