Nope.

Speedbrain and BMW/Husqvarna have terminated there contract, and the old Husky 450 rallye bike will now be known as a Speedbrain 450rr...

So Huskys will be thin on the ground in Dakar next year (even though the Speedbrain rallye bike still used a BMW like frame etc, I will call it a Husky for the purposes of this post).

Interesting year ahead, new KTM, Speedbrain going it alone, Cyril with Honda (most likely) and hopefully Honda build a proper Rallye bike instead of just a kit on the CRF...

Predictions are that a rider of his caliber will only go to a factory effort, so that pretty much leaves Honda or Speedbrain, and Speedbrain are unlikely apparently.

I have a feeling Troy might be at the Toureg, but I could be very wrong on that (Neduro is second with a day to go that started a few hours ago in case anyone is interested).

I'll think you find that speedbrain will use the same engine as last year. They will just call it a speedbrain 450 rr. The motors they used are a Kymco and there are about 1500 brand new still left.

If he stays on 2 wheels then he has 2 choices of factory status anyway. I just can't see him shitting on KTM tho you never know. Who he rides for will need some deep pockets, which really points to Honda. But you never know in this game.

A 4 wheel debut is not out of the question. The desert fox knows his shit.

As for Troy, and for hopefully the last time, he is organising the annual spring thaw rally in Sweden. With a couple of weeks to go I'd say his probably flat out.

Yep, same bike but just called another name.

Pretty much the same as when it went from BMW by Speedbrain to Husky by Speedbrain.

And I have not heard if Matt Fish still has a ride with them.

Cyril has been linked to Stefan Pierer, the new owner of Husqvarna, he could stay under the "KTM" umbrella by going to Husky.

Honda would need very deep pockets to get him I reckon.

So then Cyril would have to ride a CRF450X at Erseberg?

Ouch!

Well now they're not paying Stoner, maybe they have some spare cash?
