Looks like Mr HONDA has a few spare dollars laying around... he picked up David KNIGHT as well!

They might be broke after signing him...

But then again, I'm sure they saved up enough money in the few months since they signed him to afford Mr Despres...

I had forgotten about them signing Knight.

Could make things interesting if CDP does go to Honda after Knight posted stuff like CDP is a "nosher" and he was disappointed that Coma was out of Dakar because he didn't want to see CDP win again, on Twitter.

He also tweeded that he wanted to do Dakar next year, but the general concensis is that he may have been drunk because most of those tweets were deleted the next day...

Could be interesting meetings...

David and Goliath. I have images of cdp dancing around him in circles taunting him (sporting his bandana of course) while the Knightster swings wildly at cdp's shadow

Hardly, Knight is 195 cm and 95KG (in 09), Despres is 180cm and 80Kg (in 12).

But I really don't think they are childish enough to trade blows over a few drunken tweets.

(Height and weights taken from the Dakar page for Cyril, and some other page from 09 when Knight signed with BMW here )

A 4 wheel debut is not out of the question. The desert fox knows his shit.

As for Troy, and for hopefully the last time, he is organising the annual spring thaw rally in Sweden. With a couple of weeks to go I'd say his probably flat out.
