Most popular place for riders to meet around there seems to be Lieper's Fork, especially Pucketts grocery. Very crowded after church on Sundays though, so be patient. Don't even think about hitting Lovelace Cafe at that time, seen waits 2hrs and longer on some Sunday afternoons.

Are you wanting a route that ends at a restaurant? Pucketts would be the go to place in your neck of the woods.

Gringo, it is a little tougher to find a country place open on Sunday, but if you are out tomorrow, check out Davis' Market south of Puckett's. Also, they are not open on Sunday but Schaffer's in Summertown is a great place for BBQ.

We're new to middle earth here as well as of Oct. Renting a place over in the La Vergne / Smyrna area. We're trying to discover the small local eateries, and nix the chains as well.

Enjoy

Some other places to try if you want to head down south into Franklin....

Bunganut Pig.....best burger in town
McQueary's Irish Pub....fish and chips and Guiness
Frothy Monkey....coffee and sandwichs
All of these are downtown

La Teresa's......great Mexican
Located on 96 , near I-65, across from Franklin Chop House (also very good)

If you hit Martin's, for something different try their brisket soft tacos! It's my go-to @ Martin's.

It was a beautiful day for a ride, sometimes the best road around is on the other side of the cattle gap....but watch for the cow piles!

Wow, couldn't have been worse timing for that....best weather we have had in months and you tore your bike apart. I am taking PTO on Wednesday and planning to make the most of the day.

I couldn't get out yesterday. Mrs. B is down witht he flu, so I stayed close to home. Spent some time cleaning up the yard (lots of branches down) and piddling in the garage. I have the mounting hardware on my bike, hoping the bags will show up today so I can get them on tonight.
