Try "the shoe fixer" in murfreesboro. They have stitched up some klim pants and added taller soles to Loura's sidi street boots and they work for cheap! Next to O'Charleys on memorial blvd.

There's also one in Donelson, next to Whitts BBQ. He may be worth a shot.

Worth the ride to get down there? How long did it take you and what route did you take to get there? Looks like a fun road.

Highlight of the day, sunset at Brow Park with Brenda.

I took the scenic route thus taking most of the day. Left the house at 9:30 am and arrived in Mentone around 4:30. But if you take the most direct route you could get there in 3 hours. It is maybe 5 miles off of interstate 59 at Ft Payne. I'll pass along my route when I get home.

poker run?

Hey guys, I'm attending a poker run this Saturday 9/21 that benefits the Rutherford County Habit for Humanity. The organizer is a good friend of mine and more riders will help him out. The route starts in Murfreesboro and will meander though Bell Buckle, Lynchburg, and Shelbyville ending back in the boro.

Yeah, I know, a poker run? On a klx? Its fun and a change of pace.

Details here if you want to think about: http://www.hammerdownforhabitat.com/

Poker runs on dirt bikes are cool, you park next to a $25k dresser, and the dirt bike gets all the attention!

Unless plans change, I'll be at the Toy Run in Clarksville.

When you ride a dirtbike in a Poker Run, you get the same feeling a horsefly gets when he's pestering a herd of cattle.
