Excellent

Excellent ride report, I am enjoying your ride from here. Great pictures. Sounds like you are enjoying a great adventure, ..that's what it is all about.

If you should need anything on your return and are going to be near Revelstoke, give me a shout. I have a full service shop here, tires in stock.

Cheers

Grande Prairie stopover

Hannes made it here yesterday at about 10:00 am, and brought the rain with him, we managed to get some warm breakfast into him and then pointed him to the warm shower!!

The mighty KLR needed a bit of maintenance, the air filter was covered in mud. It got cleaned and some better tape applied to the Swiss cheese cover over the air filter.

Gear got placed to dry out....

Then we did what most ADV riders/tent space hosts do, we invited him to a good old western Alberta wedding... No really, horses, cowgirls, alcohol, BBQ pork the only thing missing was gunfire. Note: Hannes is still single, it was a wedding for some friends of ours :)

Today, he is back on the road, heading towards Jasper, it's not raining here in Grande Priarie, but you never know when you ride to Grande Cache.

Hannes, it was great to meet you, my lovely wife and I enjoyed your company and your stories from your trip. We are glad you choose to stay with us. Safe journeys......

Hey Gunnerbuck
What a great momento for Hannes trip to Canada! When he left my house he really had no off road experience but he caught on quick thanks to you.
Looks like I may stop at his house in Belgium on my ride around europe next spring. Is Belgium even as big as Vancouver Island?

Cheers

Likely not, Belgium looks pretty small on the map...

It's too bad the weather was not the best when he was here as the helmet cam spent most of the time in the tank bag...

Very nice looking bike, congrats...

Looks like your building on your dirt skills, are you bringing that bike over on your next trip?...
