This just in.
BiggerBird and the FLNBRK will be sitting out this year's AMCDA show.
Had the weather been a bit more spring-like..... I might have been able to dig out a trailer or ridden down. Stars didn't align.
Hope to see all you inmates down there on Saturday.

Cool2 On with the show!

The Street Tracker is loaded and ready to go.
Stinking 6 degree temperature with 15 mph wind this morning was miserable.
Ride to the show?
On a snowmobile maybe...

Here's my "adv" bike, I hope you all like it:

Hey! I figure every ride is an adventure

Here it was:

I did, I think I replaced it with an 800GS. Only thing I know is that I signed some documents and was emailed a pic.

Great seeing so many friendly faces yesterday.

Didn't get to visit with quite everybody so gotta go back again today.

Oh yeah, gotta have a closer look at some of the bike too. Especially the Beezer creation pictured below.

Thumb What a show!

Great show with a nice variety of bikes.
I also love the Terra Ambulator and took a bunch of pictures of it.
I took pictures of many bikes this year after forgetting my camera last year.

Of course the real surprise of the show for me was that my Street Tracker won a first place trophy!

I didn't know they gave out trophies, I was thinking ribbons like a dog show.

Then today when I went to pick the bike up I discovered a check too!
Whoa, that is neat! Thanks judges whoever you are!

I'm already planning to enter another bike next year.

Took the fam on Sunday. Great showing! Really loved the classic Kawi Triple on the back row (#69), which got my vote.

We all went to the dealer side. Jr had his beady eyeballs lit up on all sorts of fancy cant-afford-it-yets.

Then I sat on that slick new Honda Goldwing Jr (F6B). Pretty cool for a highway cruiser. After I un-arsed the saddle, I went back around back to look at the slick saddle bags and bumped the turn-signal for a Duc. BROKE IT!

Thought for sure it only rotated on it's mount, but, as the saleman pointed out..."Its BROKEN!".

Felt bad as it was truly my mistake. Gave them my # to pay for it later. Damn! If I wasn't such a fat-arse. UGH! Embarrassed.

Had a great time! Thanks to all that had a hand in it and to the couple of guys that hog tied me in the parking lot and drug me off the back way to Mongo's. That place was outstanding and I hadn't been there for ages... like maybe 20 years.

I still have no idea what that woman was saying as she ladled more of that nuclear sauce onto my innocent stack of meat and veggies. Some unusual combination of english words that apparently mean "this meal will be just shy of welding temperatures".

Outstanding.

Definitely heading back and it was great to see so many after a winter of hibernation. Even saw Zack for a couple minutes and have heard from a few other racers that he's getting really fast.

Good seeing everyone. Ride safe this spring
