I found it funny, given the context.

yeah but...pissing into the wind is the best way to get some of your own back...

...meanwhile back at the ranch..

Valve stems make a cheap half decent punch..

and for re-seating fork seals...a 50mm rural poly joiner is good for sliding the seals home with out destroying them.

I think thats what it does anyway...
And if that fails, sometimes I've found that tightening the screw slightly will break the seal easier than trying to undo the screw. Very handy if the screw is already mangled in the "undo" direction but still ok in the "tighten" direction.

I think carb screws on some bikes not meant to be undone. Get plenty of inox or WD40 into the threads days before you intend to undo them, plenty of time to soak does help.

Better into the wind than into your helmet.

Sneezing in your helmet with a cold is also not recommended.

Next time you got your axles out, weld a stop on to prevent rotation, cuts out one spanner

Use a E pin instead of a split pin

While you got the welder out, make up a specific tool for your axles, this one does both axles on the DR,plus undoes the rim locks

Old school enduro rider here, old inner tubes are the only way to hold all your bits on,

Get a 5 buck watch from GO LO and stick it in plain view, essential for us old farts with diminishing eyesight!

Many headlights stay on when cranking, put an isolating switch in to give you every chance

I also run a total kill switch that I turn off every night when I'm on th e track

Weld an extesion foot on youre kickstand

Run a connection straight from your battery for your battery tender/charger, then make some lightweight jumpers with the same fitting, fine for a jump, personally tested

Install a surrender monkey, you'll be amazed how much quicker you go!!

When you take that sidestand spring off, put the stand down and pack the spring with coins, then retract it and the spring will fall off!
