Netra scramble in Freetown ma this Sunday...
In!

I'll do all the PSTR short courses, and as many netra enduros as I can fit in. It's a good excuse to TRY and stay in reasonable shape.

Raced (I use that term lightly) Curly Fern today. I was really sick and missed Sandy Lane last week. Day started out cold, with a few miles of tarmac and fast woods road, and 30 degree temps. Headed into the woods and all was good, it was wide open and whooped out. I was riding ok, and my bike was running weird, the idle would hang up, which made for some fun trying to ride whoops on a 300. I lost some time out of fear of killing myself, hit some single track and some mini stick forest and it got worse. Real hard to have any throttle and clutch control when you had no idea what was going to happen. Road for two more checks and decided to call it a day. The bike had a nasty lean surge and I didn't want to hurt it or me.
So I took the DNF and road back to my van and called it a day.
Not the way to start off 2013.
