It was a short course scramble. 2 mile woodsy loop with some sandy (rocky) flat track as well. 2-40min motos.

I managed 4th behind some notorious sandbaggers and pretty fast dudes. And I'm happy with that. Because how do you beat a sandbagger? Go faster.
This race should definitely prove the catalyst for getting back on the fitness wagon with a vengeance.

Wow, the mud hole looked nasty.

Did the NECC yesterday. A guy on my line was doing the short courses today as well. No pics but here's a video of the first lap. Another bad start...

Diamondback in East Durham is having an open practice Saturday and racing on Sunday.

There's a good chance I'll do the open practice, not sure about the race.

My next race for sure will be the D-3 double points race at Unadilla on May 12th.

Raced tuxedo ridge yesterday, let me re-phrase that, I picked my way thru the rocks at tuxedo ridge!! I was planning on doing some more hare scrambles but that place was just to rocky. I was fine with the wide open uphill/downhill sections but the tight woods sections were giant rock gardens! Are all of the NETRA courses that bad? Anyone recommend a better event. Thanks for your help.

Thats probably one of the easier tracks. As Tomatoe333 once said Welcome to New England have some rocks! If you want smoother go to the open practices at the motocross tracks or Head south to Jersey
