Doing the math I need roughly a 10,000-12,000 lb hitch to carry a full size motorcycle: Bike (wet) ~450 lbs + carrier itself ~50 lbs =~500 lbs and will require 1,000 pound tongue weight rating, which is generally 10% of the hitch capacity.
Was following a guy with a double hitch carrier with 2x KTM 4-stroke enduros on his Honda Pilot on the way to Hell in the Hills last year. I can't imagine he had more than 1" usable travel in his rear suspension, and I swear I saw daylight under the front tires coming over some of those rollers on the entrance street

Yeah, right. Quit telling unfathomable stories. Next you'll be telling us you bought a 2 stroke KTM but can't show it to us yet because your doing head work on it.

Rob dude! I was doing the same thing last night!!! I may make some stickers if I come up with a design I like.. Here's what I started going with.. I love that we both had the crossed sporks idea!

PS: since we haven't formally settled on the name Formally Dirty for the roaming rally I was considering "Team Dual Spork" as well.. It's such a great play on words!

That's Lester3's mutant tire I bought from him. He wanted a knob for his 250, but when it showed up, the 120 looked and fit like a 140. It's a Michilin Cross AC10 120-90 / 18. Beefy like a 140. Paddle like knobs too. Here's a comparison to what I have on my 450 now.

One of my projects of the day was this addition to my sleeping bag bag. Originally the bag had the compression straps, but they attached around the edge, which actually pulled the bag open and did little to compress anything. I made a new cap with straps that mated with the existing adjusters. Works mint.
