Bollocks!!! The temperature has been up and down like Bill Clinton's trousers for the last week. Might be nice enough on Sunday for a spin....

We're forecast for another 5cm+ of the white crap over the weekend. At least we're outside the area predicted to get freezing rain.

I sure would like to see another color other than white when I look out the window.

Cold Lake is still solid, not a sign of it breaking up even at the river inlets and now more slushy crap falling from the sky.

Are the birds confused?

I heard there are robins in Edmonton and the geese are starting to arrive and are killing time locally by standing around on the ice. We have Merlin Falcons who have nested just by our house for the past 3 years. They arrived on Tuesday. Normally don't see them until the snow is long gone.

Long range forecast for the next 10 days doesn't have a real warm day identified but expect low temperatures down to -14 or colder. Do the birds know something the weather predictors don't or are they going to suffer through this spring like the rest of us?

Guys, anyone from Nelson, BC or thereabouts? Considering a trip to Ainsworth Hot Springs... Here in Spokane, WA we have trees blooming (probably earliest in the last 5 years) so I wonder if BC is catching up... I'd really like to catch BC nature in awakening hour...

Woke up to more snow in Regina this morning. There's no way a bike is making it safely off a residential street for at LEAST a week. Probably more. On the plus side...I've saved 6 weeks of insurance compared to last year...

Went to the end of season employee party at the hill last night.
While we were having supper it started to snow and it didn't stop.
10+cm on the ground and more on the way today.

I'm an hour north of Toronto and they are calling for 10-15cms today and tomorrow!!!!
Then some arsewipe is going to drop 21mm of freezing rain on top of that!!!

If this keeps up I'm going back to sunny England!!!.........no wet conditions there as we all know!

OK, I hate to say it but Spring is on hold until further notice here.
While it isn't unusual for us to get snow on the prairie every month but July,
I think it's going to suck until at least May.
Why? My wife and I brought home new bicycles yesterday.
Murphy (the Irish legislator) will give us shite riding weather for at least a month due to shiny new toys in the garage.
