An amazing accomplishment. You're becoming a legend in your own time.
A legend? Let me get some tanks out and making their way around the planet then we can talk about legendary status

Legendary wiener tease right now That's alright I am moth balling the GS for a month while I am out of town and then have some customization to do when I get back. Do we have an ETA yet?

Oso,
do you know what rear mud fenders will fit with you tank?
Does the Mudsling?
and how about the Maier?

I have a Mudsling and there's no issue, not even close. Same with the Maier. I don't know all the brands of mudguards but it should be OK as long as they don't use the 4 sub frame threaded inserts to mount.

I'm waiting on a few bits from suppliers. This first run is not as smooth flowing as I had hoped but with things coming from 10-12 different suppliers it's not really a surprise. I'm looking at different options to streamline things for the next order so a couple suppliers can provide me with everything I need for the project.

I appreciate everyone's patience.

I like the looks of the Camel Tank better myself, but until you hold this guy's work in your hands you can not appreciate it. I bought a counter sprocket cover from him that is art! I'm on the list for a Camel Tank as well, but Scheffelmeier's stuff is top notch!!

I never said that their tank wasn't good quality just fu ugly: and I'll keep that opinion. Even if their tank is in germany which is litteraly next door to myplace and will safe me a lot of shipping costs, I'll keep my word and order at Oso's.
After all he's our new legend ;)

I agree, the wait has been too long. Although I have been building one-off projects for most of my life, this is my first time for mass production. I've learned/am learning a lot as I go. I've made several newbie mistakes including announcing the product way too early and seriously under estimating how much time is needed to complete when there are multiple manufactures and suppliers involved. I'm used to running to the local parts store to pick up 5-6 hoses clamps or a foot or two of hose and leaving with it. When I'm ordering 2000 hose clamps and 1000' of hose even the big industrial supply companies have to special order it from their supplier. Much more planning is required when ordering enough material for hundreds of units.

I do appreciate everyone's patience and I truly believe once you have one in hand you will agree it was worth the wait.

Cory

Quality things are worth waiting for. Cheap things are very expensive when you consider the repair or replacement cost.
