How do you find singletrack in CO?

I've never really ridden much singletrack at all. I hit a couple nice singletrack areas at Rampart Range a few years back, and it was AWESOME. I'd like to start doing more of that this year, but I live in Longmont and seldom get down to Rampart and that area.

Could anyone point me to good resources to help find singletrack in CO? Web sites, books, stuff with GPS tracks would be great.

Thanks!

This is a good place to start:

Then look at the MVUMs mentioned.

Head to the closest ranger station and ask, several of them guys are avid riders and can point you in a good direction.

It'd probably be cheaper to join a local riding group

Latitude 40 maps. They're excellent.

Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks everybody! Good to know about NCTR and as soon as my 1150GSA sells (feel free to bump my ad and tell your friends btw! haha! ), I'd planned to head up to Elite KTM in Loveland anyway! Don't think my GS would be so good on a singletrack.

Single track

I have had good luck with some of the maps from the forest service/BLM station, espically some of the National Geographic maps.

Jeff, why are you wearing a red robe? Shouldn't it be KTM orange?
