That's cool. Did you paint it?

Sort of. It's a combination of my Photoshop work and a sign shop. The graphics are vehicle wrap vinyl. Great stuff.

Looks really cool. You should sell your work.

I run a R05 Roof Boxer V8... the best piece of riding gear I've ever bought. I love this helmet!

I'd love to find a helmet that's cheap (relatively), vintage-looking, and safe. After looking high and low, I've come to the determination that you'll be able to satisfy 2 out of those 3 conditions at best. Hope someone can prove me wrong.

from my experience... you get what you pay for! I had a hard time rationalizing the cost, until I asked myself how much my head & life was worth? Bought the helmet an hour later.

Designed in Photoshop myself, had digthelid.com paint it for me. The stripes are silver leaf.

Don't have A PIC, but I do have a Shoei. I'll thank Chock for the helmet. Had a spill last September wearing a 3/4 helmet. Left some scars along with bad injuries. I've never cared for a full face, but a hospital visit changed my perception. My neck was already screwed up and turning around for vision is less than comfort5able. I just might make it through another tumble without the pain. Don't want to think about it though.

Seeing this graph pretty much sealed the deal for me regarding whether to go full-face or open-face:
