mounting a water container on my GSA

I know it could freeze and crack and I could slip on the water that turned into ice and fall pulling the bike down on top of me and get killed by a 600 pound murder-cikle, but I like it

looks like it would have been a better location for a gasoline RotoPax!

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=863831

If gas doesn't work...and water doesn't work...let's try ICED TEA! (mmm...my favorite)

Maybe the inmates will be 'gentler' with WATER.

I thought about filling it up with camping fuel on my way to Prudhoe Bay

maybe put one on the left side to make sun / exhaust tea

I was thinking of getting the 2 stacked adapter - stack them water (on top), gas (on bottom) so if the gas one drug and caught fire it would melt the top one and the water would put it out -safety first

After careful consideration...

I think that you're actually onto something.

Think that you should get the RotoPax extension handle and MOUNT (2) 1-gallon packs under the pannier.

Order is important:
WATER on top
GASOLINE on bottom.

In the event bike takes a 'nap' and destroys BOTH...at least the WATER will put OUT the fire!

just got back from a short ride, didn't want to fill the panniers with weights to simulate a traveling load so I picked up a 200 lb Samoan hooker on a street corner and said I'd give her a ride to Denny's for a grand slam

Went on a longer ride, was getting gas, a couple Harley guys pulled in behind, one actually talked and asked what the white thing was, he thought it was pretty cool for water or gas. I told him they make one for tools, he said funny

I dont know,
I like it except I just mounted my tool tube there.
I might just have to rethink the whole thing

Is you tool tube a piece of 6-8 inch pipe with cap ends on it?

Did you try tilting the bike to see if you crush it if you have a minorr tumble?

Yes but it's 4". I used an aluminum angle to attach it and SS clamps.
