Wheeee!

Had a great time Saturday guys, wish I could have went Sunday, but life happens.

I kinda floated around group to group but had fun with whoever.

Whoever happened to pay my toll on the Cannonball Bridge, Thank you!!!

I have a little video and a couple snap shots I will get up later.

As far as I know no carnage on the KLR685, except mud and stalks, and a roosted rock in the face shield from Indian Bones in the 1st mile of gravel!! Yes, Bones that new tire throws em pretty good!! I'm pretty sure if I would have had my face shield up or no helmet you would have took me off the bike with that one!

Thanks to Big Dog for schooling me on why I ran off the track on my GPS.

Thanks to Loose Nut and crew for putting this together, see you next year!!

Who had the stickers? Got any left??

What a GREAT time!

Unfortunately we had to bail after that awesome breakfast to get home and get my wife's blown back back in order and take care of the kids but man did we have a great ride. We will definitely have to finish day two some other time. I snapped a few shots but nothing to do this ride justice. I hope someone was able to stop and get some pictures of all of the mud and other fantastic riding! A HUGE thanks goes out to Steve and crew for putting on this ride and taking such great care of everyone.

It was great having lunch with you and your dad, AC! Jerry and I will have to plan a trip to your shop.

Steve & Loose Nut crew: Fantastic job. I can't believe I didn't fall down. (That deserves another.) I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T FALL DOWN!
If I'd stayed for the Sunday ride, I'd have had to call in to work for the next two weeks. My left wrist and hand is swollen and sore. Nothing says, "You're getting older" like a Loose Nut ride! I quit using the clutch for upshifts before lunch. I quit using the clutch for ALL shifts after lunch. And then there was that little town (I have no idea where we were) towards the end where we must have hit every stop sign in town - twice! ARROUGH!

To the guy behind me on the red Husky 310: I wish you'd had a camera. I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T FALL DOWN AND TAKE YOU WITH ME!

Wonderful day. I'm looking forward to next year (if the swelling has gone down by then).

Billgo: You can ride that thing, Dude!

Hackrman: Really? REALLY!?

Frank and Paul: Good seeing you again. Save that mud, Paul. Make a statue and mount it on the dash. That truck deserves some honor.

To everyone else: Not a bad rider in the crowd. Instant best friends. Can't wait to ride with you again.

wasions: great having lunch with you guys as well. It is always good to chew the fat with some folks that really know their vintage bikes. Swing in the shop anytime we can show you what we have sitting around.

I had a fantastic time on my first ever DS ride! Got my first coat of mud on the Tiger.

Sunday was a brisk 35 degrees when I left my house, but had a good turn out anyway.

Good meeting and riding with everyone!

Great Ride

Thanks to Loose Nut for putting on the ride, it was great. Here are a few photos from the ride.

Our group crossing the steel bridge this morning....

Let's go that away....

Bones as setup his helmet cam as a security camera to monitor his bike while he was eating. He was concerned that some would try and steal his "factory" rear shock he was testing on this ride.

Kenny running thru the mud coming from the oil rig on Saturday.

Where did my rear tire go?????

Let's go mudding with Paul and his Low Rider

Sunday's weather was great...

2 guys who made it up on the rock....

Bones made it off the rock, but couldn't make back on the road....

Creek crossing on the county road...

Try and post more tomorrow.
Again - Thanks to LN for putting this together, can't wait til next year..

That picture reminds me. I forgot to say nice to meet you to your wife at breakfast Steve. Any woman that rides motorcycles, wears a Luminox, and carries a pocket knife is alright by me
