Some people try to turn back their odometers.
Not me! I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Thanks to Loose Nut for putting together a spectacular ride! It's been a while since I enjoyed a ride so much! It is now on my list of annual "must do" rides.
I took over 175 pictures. Here's a few...

More to come......

Great to see you all!!

Piss anyone off? NO WAY.........it was like we had our own personalized on the scene action photographer documenting the hooliganisms..........
YEEEEHAAW!

I want to be the first to nominate you for Dad of the Year! Bringing a youngin' out to see the action, teaching him the skills of offroad ralleye driving in a street tired two wheel drive pick up truck in the muddy White River bottoms, sacrificing bright yellow paint to the knobby roosts to get to the perfect picture, spending real quality time with him, letting him see you encouraging all the ADVriders, you just ain't right and there's a good chance he'll grow up as warped as the rest of us.........there's still hope for our country.

It was awesome to come across Severn's Bridge and see you bail out of the truck with your camera to get our pictures........then at Sullivan's Grocery, then at the Petersburg gas stop................I just wish I could've seen you haulin' down those muddy roads, slinging mud and sliding around.

Thanks so much for showing up!

The big Super Tenere got my nephew down in the mud Saturday so we had to call out the heavy equipment.

Many Thanks

I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to Loose Nut and his cadre of assistants. This was a great ride and I had a a great time on the sections I managed to ride this past weekend. I learned a bit, met some fine folks, tested some new camping gear, and really just had a blast. I hope to be at next year's event too. Again, many thanks to all involved, both organizers and participants!

OK to ride anytime?

I was bummed to miss this ride. I love the pics and videos, they make me crave the next ride. My question is: are we cool to recreate this ride on our own time using the tracks that were posted or did you have some special permissions to go onto some of the sections for last weekend only? I don't want to do anything to risk any permissions you hope to get for 2014. I can't tell from the pics whether all the areas traveled are public or if you had some permissions....or some don't ask / don't tell sections. As long as I'm not harming land or risking getting shot I usually don't mind stretching the legalities a bit. Thanks
