What kind of range will be needed for the dirt leg?
I can only get ~ 150km out of a tank, trying to work out if i can make it!

You can make it. There will be a few tankers to help where required.

would love to ride to cuballing from newman in a roundabout way to do a saddlesore ironbutt run of 1610kms but motogp is on that weekend.
any chance of watching motogp in cuballing?

Problem solved

Lorenzo from Marquez, Pedrosa and Rossi.

How much do you want to know?
How Pedrosa make a promising start only to fade as there's about 10 laps too many for him.
How Marquez feeling the pressure of a potential back to back and makes a couple of mistakes in the closing laps handing the win to a faultless Lorenzo.
How Rossi takes enormous risks in fending off the pack to finish a very distant 4th.
