Thumbs down Corbin Gripe

Not sure if this is the place to post this but.....
I just got a Tiger 800 Roadie.
Made it to bike week and got a new heated seat from Corbin, with a 10% rider discount.
Had it shipped home. When I went to place it on the bike, I realized that they had sold me a seat for a 1200.
I called up Mike Kehane, in Daytona and got an apology and he set up a pick up from Fed- Ex. I asked him about the heated aspect, and was promised that even though 800 seats don't have heat as an option, they would special order it. He Spoke to Louis, I got ticket that said "RED FLAG, AUTHORIZED BY LOUIS, ADD HEAT". 10 days later I got the new seat. Opened it up and NO heat. The attached had all those special notes. So I called Mike again, and he apologized again. He set up a pick up from Fed-Ex. Thing was that he set the pick up at an incorrect address. I got a hold of him again, and he told me that I had to make arangements to get the seat picked up at the incorrect address because FED-EX wouldn't let him change the pickup point.
So..... I told him to forget it. He issued me a credit for the difference, after I got nasty.
This is my fourth and last Corbin.

My gripe with them is being on hold for over 20 minutes twice last week. I'm done with them.

And this is something new with corbin?

Really they are famous for bad customer service

Does your seat weigh a lot? Are they still using fiberglass for the base?

I've had nothing but horrid service from them, yet I really like their seat...
Lucky for me, once I have it, I don't need to deal with them anymore.

same here .... ordered seat with out seat sticking TWICE (stock model) but never got it that way. The problem was the person on the phone said "yes no problem" and wrote on the order ticket... but the instructions were ignored by the builder- one big disconnect... Great seat though... I loved all 5 seats that I have had... they are the best.

It amazes me at how they've managed to stay in business with such a well earned reputation.

I have one on my gsa. But I paid $85 for it. Be damned if I'd ever pay him full pin for a seat.

They aren't all that, for the new price there's people that make an equal or better product, and aren't arrogant a-holes.
