Bad voltage regulator killed my head & taillight. What now?

2005.5 950A w/ 23, 000. My voltage regulator went out killing my low beam and half of my taillights. What are my options here. I've seen a few guys replace their bulbs in the headlight but what about the taillights. Can I buy new bulbs or do I need a complete housing? Thanks in advance for any input.

Buy new bulbs, it's an easy process to change them.
But did your R/R fail and you need to get a new one?
If so there are several threads on the subject here on the O.C.

I will replace the front bulb but I was unsure if the taillights are LED or a series of bulbs that can be replaced. Also, I was hoping someone might chime in on what bulbs to use since there are a few options. Thanks.

You can use a multiled bulb for rear lights.

They will be more reliable. For the R/R I would recommend the Shindengen mosfet type.
Cheers.
