Oh, wait! That’s the one that got fired.
Didn’t know you took orders from the Pope. Former choirboy? I heard that was a dangerous job.

That ‘Lil Turd Bird still has way too much white on it. I got’s some red Krylon. Some black too!

Congrats on the new bike!

How'd you choose an XR and have you been thinking about one for a while?

Have fun, Mark H.

I have been thinking about an XRL for a while now.
Studied one pretty hard at last year's MC Show.
Decided on the air-cooled single as opposed to the KLR.
Wanted a bit more dirt-worthiness plus an ancient design was OK by me.
Can't wait to take it out and play with it.

The design is PROVEN....period. It just works. The suspension took everything I could dish out, including following Fast Eddie while pre-running the Baja a few years ago. It ain't the lightest, it ain't the fastest, but it would fire right up every morning w/o fail.

You'll love that bike.

I would, however, like to get a little further past this sign!
I hate being denied!

How's this?
Currently searching for a pair of white fenders.
Or were you referring to the pope/Pope/choirboy comment?

You got me inspired so I found a new CRF250L at Ron's Honda in Soldotna and bought it. You're going to want some similar farkles so check these out:

http://seatconcepts.com/products#!/~...356&id=7268062
The stock seats are notorious. You'll want people to know you're smiling because of the ride, not the butt floss seat.

Because everyman needs a man rack. Mike's great to deal with and he's got some other cool chit you might want. I bought a powdercoated prototype he had that will fit a Rotopax.

Might have the fender you're looking for.

I emailed Rox about the shims for the risers. Their site didn't have them listed as a separate part. Should know more Monday or so.

I'll vouch for the Seat Concepts upgrade.
For a rack (you could haul a moose on that): https://cycleracks.com/ProductDetail...1/Default.aspx

Inspiration is my middle name!
This may be headed toward cult status.
Congratulations.
We will need pictures for verification.
Not to worry about the risers.
I may be going a different direction.
