Hatcher Pass or Denali Hwy clear by Memorial Day?

I'm looking to do a farewell AK Tour before we move to Lower America this summer. Would you reckon that Hatcher Pass or Denali Highway would be rideable by Memorial weekend?

I think its the last weekend in May.

And ... I'm looking to help a buddy find a 250-650 Dual Sport for less than $4,000. PM me if you have something.

Thanks

I strongly doubt Hatchers will be open. Doesn't usually open until late June. Dunno about the Denali.

kinda feels like a freak storm is happenin' now what with something or someone
holding up a big stop sign to spring... North of the range is running 20 degrees
below normal.

But I'm sure everything will be back to normal by Memorial Day. I hope...

Seen this one? Low miles, seems like a good price.

Hatchers? NO WAY! The drifts will still be head-deep until well after that.

I agree, there is still a LOT of snow up there, including a lot of fresh powder. Whoohoo!!! I plan on skiing over the actual pass on Saturday. I can take photos of the snow-covered road. It would (probably) be a miracle for anybody to ride any sort of bike on that road by the end of May. I volunteer to take photos of anybody who wants to try!

However, I had a muddy blast riding over the Denali Hwy last year on Memorial Day weekend, heading home from the Haul Road.
