Leaky fuel bowl vent

Winter's slumber has given the ol' gal a weepy vent tube in the base of the fuel bowl. I tried tapping it back in, but that might have made it just a little bit worse. I'm thinking maybe a dab of gas resistant epoxy around the base with something placed in the tube to keep it open might fix it. Anyone else have a trick they've used in the past to stop this leak?

Flare the tube.

Sealant on the outside works too. gas tank sealant from auto parts store.
