05 WR450 and mounting a Giant Loop Coyote

Anyone here have a steel frame WR450 with a Giant Loop Coyote or Great Basin on it?
I'm struggling with the best way to mount it because of the close proximity of the exhaust header to the frame.
Do i need to weld some loops on to the subframe?

Pictures would be a big help!

Attach the strap to the frame spar instead of the subframe. To keep it from sliding down while riding, put a hose clamp and D-ring around the frame and attach to that (or some other simple mod).

Here's an example (the pic doesn't show the exhaust side though).
