AltRider's First Impression of the BMW R 1200 GS Water-Cooled

We just spent some time with the NEW 2013 BMW R 1200 GS Watercooled and wanted to share our initial thoughts of the bike. In the video below, we featured the highlights of this improved model along with showing you all the cool little updates such as the easy adjustable seat settings and windshield adjustments on the go. Currently, AltRider is working on protection parts and luggage solutions for this new bike – it will be available in early summer 2013 on Good things come to those who wait…

What do you all think? Let us know if you have any questions --we're happy to help you out.

I went on a test ride at Max BMW about two weeks ago and I might eventually trade in my 2010 GS in a couple years once all the bugs are worked out of the new water cooled design. My favorite part of the new model is the wet clutch. The main problem I had was with the windshield. The concept of adjusting it while riding is great, but it vibrates/wobbles A LOT at high speeds.
There is no greater honor in this world than leading U.S. Soldiers at home and abroad. 'nuff said.

Nice work boys!

Really like the new look. Big thumbs up on the seat redesign, the previous gen was a PITA to get latched.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of these in our fleet sometime in the near future.
