A short ride and the Big Sky

Took a nice ride south of town today. Wanted to try out the new Shinko 244's. they performed great on the pavement as well as on the soft dirt and gravel. Also, don't Armor All your seat the day before. I was a slipping and a sliding all over that seat. Enjoy

Big Sky country at it's best.

This gravel road went on for ever!

Armor all and saddles just don't mix.

Those pictures really make me miss Montana. It has been too long. Prettiest state by a long shot.

thanks longbow ! Billings is my hometown, lived there for over 40 years....am in Missoula now. I love the western part of the state but also the eastern...do get homesick for it. You could post these photos up in the "plains" thread too......fits right in -

Your welcome! I hope you all enjoyed the pictures. There will be more in the future, Montana is such a huge and diverse state you almost can't take a bad picture. I'm really excited to finally get the opportunity to get out there and explore this great state.

Beautiful country, nice photos! Thanks for taking the time to share. I once used Armor All on the seat of my old Transalp. Took several rides before I felt like I wouldn't look like a cartoon of a guy twisting the throttle and not going going anywhere as the bike takes off without him.
