Tall passengers on an Adventure?

Newb to Orange Crush... I sat on a 2012 Adventure at the local dealer this week, which led to hours of thread searching.

In my search I got some very positive info about pillion comfort on the Adventure, but no one mentioned tall passengers...

I'm 6'1", my wife is 5'10 +, together we weigh about 350 lbs, plus gear.

Is there room for both of us to be comfortable? For reference, we've been making due on a Triumph Scrambler, but our 40something year old knees get stiff within a few hundred miles . I intend to take her down to the dealer and sit on it, but they almost always feel good for 5 minutes on the floor. Any real world experience with tall passengers?

Also, are the pegs the same (rider and pillion) on the adventure and SE? Beyond seat comfort, wind protection, and fuel range, I've read that the subframe on the SE isn't up to handling two largish size folks?

Thanks for taking time to read my thread. Any insight or links would be appreciated :)
